Ophélie Dénommée-Marchand

Ophélie Dénommée-Marchand is an independent journalist based in Quebec. Fact-checker and researcher with U.S. newsroom Lead Stories between 2021 and 2025, she investigated the veracity of claims concerning a wide range of topics, in the U.S. and internationally, including elections, armed conflicts, health and science. Since, she is a generalist contributing to various media outlets, and an encyclopedist for The Canadian Encyclopedia. Ophélie holds a B.A. in French Literature from University of Montreal.
