Yassie Pirani is a photographer and recent Master of Social Work graduate living on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the x?m??kw?y??m (Musqueam), Skwxwu´7mesh (Squamish), Sto´:lo¯, and S?l?i´lw?ta?/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a mixed-race settler woman, Yassie’s deep commitments to anti-racism and decolonization inform her clinical practice and her activism.
