Alex Tyrrell has served as Leader of the Green Party of Quebec since September 2013. Under his leadership, the party has redefined itself as an eco-socialist, feminist and multicultural party that seeks to put an end to overconsumption while restoring justice to indigenous communities and redistributing wealth in order to build a more equal and caring society. He is currently enrolled in Environmental Science at Concordia University and lives in the Montreal borough of Notre-Dame-De-Grâce.
