Cynthia Levine-Rasky is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Queen’s University. Author of books and articles on critical whiteness studies, her most recent work reflects her interest in Romani Studies: Writing the Roma (Fernwood, 2016). Cynthia’s work also appears in Canadian Dimension, Refuge, Canada’s History Magazine (in 2018), and NOW Magazine. With Lisa Kowalchuk, Cynthia is co-editor of a book in progress entitled, We Resist: Defending the Common Good in Hostile Times, a collection of short essays by activists, community leaders, and writers.
