Born and raised in Hong Kong, Olivia Cheng is a reporter covering human rights, ethnic minorities, technology, travel and culture. She has traveled to Europe, Africa and Asia on reporting trips. Before launching her journalism career, she earned a degree in comparative literature and French at the University of Hong Kong in 2015. She recently won Text & Print - Features (Chinese) prize at the 22nd Annual Human Right Press Awards.
