Anthony James Gavin

Anthony James Gavin is a PhD candidate in Cultural, Social and Political Thought (CSPT) at the University of Victoria.

He first became involved in socialist organizing in 2014, after moving to Montreal, and becoming radicalized by the anti-austerity movement and activist student culture.

He has published essays, poetry, and creative non-fiction, in Jacobin (pseudonymously), Grey Ghost Review, The Blasted Tree, and in journals of academic philosophy.
