Yassie Pirani

Yassie Pirani is a photographer and recent Master of Social Work graduate living on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a mixed-race settler woman, Yassie’s deep commitments to anti-racism and decolonization inform her clinical practice and her activism.
