Daphné started her journalism journey in Switzerland, after graduating with a Bachelor in Political Science. She then decided to immigrate to the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (also known as Vancouver). Before starting a Master of Journalism at UBC, Daphné was a frequent writer for the bilingual newspaper The/La Source. She also worked as a journalist, editorial assistant and database analyst at New Canadian Media (NCM). Some of her articles were republished in The Toronto Star. Daphné is particularly interested in stories that pertain to social justice, notably when it relates to the 2LGBTQ+, immigrants and Indigenous communities. Between two articles, you'll probably find her exploring the city, film camera in one hand, bike in the other.
