Tonight, for the first time, Ricochet is partnering with our friends at Canada’s National Observer to deliver a truly ambitious and expansive live broadcast. Our graphics will be worse, but everything else will be better! This will be a show by journalists, for the public, with no lobbyists and the bare minimum of politicos.
Hosted by former CBC broadcaster Adrian Harewood, our live broadcast will rotate between an expert panel of journalists including Stephen Maher, Max Fawcett, Anne Lagacé Dowson, Karyn Pugliese and Ethan Cox, a results desk manned by veteran National Observer editor David McKie (tracking key ridings and overall results), check-ins with journalists on assignment at the victory parties for every major party (Liberals, Conservatives, NDP, Greens and Bloc) and interviews with journalists like Jon Thompson and Brandi Morin, key figures like Elizabeth May and pollsters like Quito Maggi and Frank Graves.
LIVESTREAM TODAY – April 28th at 7:30PM ET / 4:30PM PT
We’ll blast out the link to our newsletter subscribers once we go live, so the best way not to miss a minute of our coverage is to subscribe to our newsletter now, and watch your inbox after 7 PM ET. You’ll also be able to catch the broadcast on Twitter/X, and on the National Observer’s YouTube channel.
