Sidney Coles

Sidney Coles is a writer and human rights advocate with years of experience in the humanitarian and non for profit sectors. The focus of her current doctoral work at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education is gendered human rights governance in the extraction sector. She has two grown children and currently lives and works on the territories of the Songhees, Esquimalt, Tsartlip/W̱JOȽEȽP, Tseycum/WSIḴEM, Tsawout/SȾÁUTW, Pauquachin/BOḰEĆEN, T’Sou-ke, Scia’new and Pacheedaht Nations in so-called British Columbia.
