Tara Mahoney

Dr. Tara Mahoney is Director of Research and Engagement at Simon Fraser University’s Community-Engaged Research Initiative (CERi). She is a climate communication researcher whose work examines media, public engagement, and climate literacy. She co-led Quiet Alarm: A Review of CBC’s Climate Reporting and writes about climate communication, journalism, and democratic participation.
