Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson is an award-winning journalist and author who belongs to northwestern Ontario. He's best known lately for his work on Canadaland's "Thunder Bay" podcast about anti-Indigenous systemic racism and police corruption, as well as the Crave documentary series by the same name. Thompson has reported for TVO, CBC, APTN, and local outlets in every medium across northwestern Ontario for 22 years. He is currently a Local Journalism Initiative reporter covering Indigenous Issues in northern Ontario.
